Join our embedded-software team to: 

• Build and maintain automated testing pipelines: develop unit- and integration-test frameworks for firmware, and hook them into every pull request
• Architect SIL and HIL test infrastructures: collaborate with hardware engineers to automate Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop validation on our cryogenic pump- and valve electronics
• Configure and manage build environments: set up and maintain containerized toolchains (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and artifact repositories 
• Streamline data flows and reporting: integrate test results, coverage metrics and issue tracking into our ERP system

As a member of our experienced team in Munich/Germany, you will support our development process through test automation, DevOps implementation, LabView maintenance, data management, and ERP integrations. You will work closely with our engineering teams to optimize testing procedures, streamline development workflows, and improve data handling across our cryogenic ePump and valve systems. 

As a member of our experienced team in Munich/Germany, you will help and take over the further development of a very unique valve for spacecraft thruster application. You will assemble and test your design prototypes together with our engineers and operators. Also cryogenic testing is foreseen.

As a member of our Systems Engineering team in Munich/Germany, you will support and drive a trade-off study of MBSE and Requirements Engineering toolchains, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team. The foreseen duration would be 3 months, with a possibility of extension. Your role will include: 

• Implementing a reference system model in several MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, Capella, Enterprise Architect, SysMLv2 prototypes, etc.) 
• Defining and refining tool and modeling requirements together with the Systems Engineering team 
• Evaluating and comparing tool capabilities for systems modeling, requirements integration, traceability, usability, collaboration, etc. 
• Documenting the methodology, results, and lessons learned in a clear, structured way  
  

As a member of our experienced team in Munich/Germany, you will help and take over design and development tasks for cryogenic high speed electric pumps, propulsion system trade-studies, electric motor designs and closed-loop throttling valves for rocket engines. You will also assist and take over iterative testing of the above-mentioned systems and products.    

Within this project, you will be responsible for generating high-quality structured and unstructured meshes tailored to complex geometries, using state-of-the-art simulation platforms such as OpenLB, Simulia (e.g., Abaqus or Simulia CFD), PowerFLOW, or OpenFOAM. You will carry out preprocessing activities, configure simulation environments, and analyze results in support of engineering development. This also includes assisting in the interpretation and validation of simulation data while streamlining workflows through the development and maintenance of automation scripts. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to advance innovation and product development efforts. Your work will be documented thoroughly to facilitate internal knowledge sharing and potentially contribute to academic submissions.

As a member of our experienced team in Munich /Germany, you will work together with our development engineers & external partners on the preparation of re-usability of satellites and spacecrafts by refueling technology maturation. A fluidic coupler sub-system is a critical element for the refueling process and shall be conceptualized and pre-validated in the frame of this internship.  

Within this project, you will start the development of a cleanliness verification test bench for space propulsion products in accordance with European space standards. You will design, assemble, and verify the test bench, with state-of-the-art in-space propulsion valves within a cleanroom environment. Verification involves the possible implementation of a machine learning algorithm for image recognition, counting, and categorizing particles at a submillimeter scale.
